If you are looking for lots of fun and excitement, or a special gift for someone, then the Ruth Carr Racing Club is for you.

Meet the Ruth Carr Racing Club Horses

Horses in the Club currently are Newyorkstateofmind and Dawn of Liberation who are enjoying well deserved holidays and Swiss Ace who who will run on the Aw winter 2025/6.   The Club has won 13 races to date, (17th June 2025).

Dawn Of Liberation

6yo bay gelding, rated over 100 in his pomp.  He came into the Club May 2025 and somehow managed to win on his first time out for the Club members! He has gone on to win again at Nottingham and at York in June. What a fantastic day out for the members at York, and nobody is suspicious of Friday 13th now!

Swiss Ace

7 y0 bay gelding.  A three time winner for the yard and placed many times.  He joins our Club fit, well handicapped and ready for some winter fun!  He loves Newcastle so is a great replacement for the recently retired Streak Lightning.  (Updated 10th November 2025)

Swiss Ace Swiss Ace

Newyorkstateofmind

A bay 8yo gelding by Brazen Beau and out of Albany Rose. Bought at Tattersalls in October 2022, he enjoyed a winter of complete relaxation.  Has been a fun horse for our Club members with 4 wins, 3 seconds and plenty of thirds and fourths.  Acts on the all weather and turf (although he’s not a fan of soft ground!)
